Obituary of Keith A. Durchanek

Keith A. Durchanek of Greenwood Lake, a marine mechanic at Willow Point Marina on Greenwood Lake, and a longtime resident of the area, died on November 3, 2014. He was 45. The son of Patricia Reitemeyer Kent, he was born on September 8, 1969 in Astoria, New York. For those who were fortunate enough to know Keith, people found him to be a down to earth person, who didn't ask for much and was willing to do anything he could to help other people. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his mother Patricia Kent of Greenwood Lake. His brother Chris Durchanek and his wife Robyn of Bel Air, Maryland. He is also survived by his nieces Caitlyn and Arden and his nephew Matthew, as well as many friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday November 8, 2014 from 2-5 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, New York. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
