It is hard to believe it has been a year since Keith's passing. He has been remembered all year by my son and our family. Funny stories always seem to come up about Keith at different times through the year. If we see a boat pass by on the lake or just remember something funny he said. A lot of fond memories to look back on. Thinking of Keith and his mom and brother on this day. Rest in peace and continue to look down and guide.

The news of Keith's passing saddens me greatly. While Keith is eternal, I'll miss seeing him on the earth. Keith helped me at WP Marina over the years. My boat runs great because of his excellent work and knowledge. He loved Greenwood Lake and his dogs. And his Bud! Keith, this Bud's for you. Thank you for your kindness and may God hold you in his arms.

I pray for comfort and peace for the Family and friends of Keith, in this tragic time. May he enter the gates of Heaven, to be greeted by all the Saints, Angels and loved ones, who've gone before us. May he find eternal rest and peace there with God Our Father. I had the privilege to meet Keith many years ago, when my then Fiancé, Paul and I first moved to Greenwood Lake, NY to begin our life together. He was a fantastic mechanic, he loved what he did and had a passion for life and laughing. Always willing to lend a hand or an ear, is how I remember Keith. I cherish those years, on the Lake and in the community and meeting and befriending Keith, was a part of that cherished memory. I will forever love The Lake and it's community. I will always fondly remember Keith. And, may he and Paul, (my ex-husband) fish and joke, boat, laugh and prank together forever in Heaven, Amen.

To the family of Keith Durchanek,
It will be the little things
that you will remember,
the quiet moments,
the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem
hard right now,
it will be the memories
of these little things
that help to push
away the pain
and bring the smiles
back again.
Continued prayers.

Ms Kent, Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your son, Keith. Losing a child is so very difficult, I imagine at any age. Life is just not supposed to work that way. Children are not supposed to predecease their parents. I wish you the blessings of God and family as you undertake the journey ahead of you. I share that burden with you in that I lost my Kay almost two years ago. She has been my wife for over fifty years and the love of my life for over 57 years; since Greensburg High School in 1957 when we were both 16 years old. We lost our first son, Brian, at six years of age not long after I had come back from serving in Vietnam. Brian was buried in Greensburg, Pa since his death in 1971. Last year I had his remains disinterred, cremated and moved into a common vault with those of his Mom in the Naval Academy cemetery in Annnapolis. We did so on Mother's Day weekend, 2013. I know that Kay is happy about it. There do not seem to be any easy answers. I cry for them daily and will do so for the rest of my days. Obviously I know nothing of your religious interests, but I go frequently to Phillippians 1:3 - "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you." God Bless you and yours.
