It was my great pleasure to have worked along side Joe as a member of the FBI/NYCPD Joint Bank Robbery Task Force and to call him a friend. Joe was the consummate professional and one of the best detectives I know. We had a lot of good times together that I will always remember. My God grant you peace my friend and may he be with your children during their time of sorrow. K

Joey, Patty & Ann Marie: I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your father. You were all too young to appreciate the impact your Dad had on my life. Following in his footsteps, law enforcement became my career as well. When I retired after 25 years I was a division commander. I went on to work in the public safety/homeland security arena as a special assistant to the Gov. of Maryland. These days I handle team security for the Washington Redskins (although truth be known I am still a NY Giants fan). Unfortunately I will not return home to Maryland from our game in Dallas until Monday morning and would not be able to make it up there for the service.
