Lois Ann Vance "Talks to Bears" May 2, 1936-March 30, 2013 Lois Ann Vance a former longtime resident of Middletown, N.Y. died on March 30, 2013 at her home at Wolf Lake. She was 76. She was the daughter of the late Arthur F. and Sophie Zowaski Schneider, she was born on May 2, 1936 in Middletown, NY. Survivors include her children, Veronica Ann Tobin of Milford, PA; Ronald J. Vance of Suffern, NY; Victoria Felton of Woodridge, NY; Dean A. Vance(Donna); Randy Vance; Vernon Vance (Toniann) all of Middletown, NY; her 12 grandchildren, Thomas Smith; Kayla Felton; John Felton; Joseph Cascino; Brian Vance; Rachel Vance; James Vance; Maranda Vance; Matthew Vance; Troy Vance; Connor Vance; Jenna Vance; her 2 great grandchildren, Xavier Curry and Arria (Whipple) Felton. Lois is further survived by her sister, Renee P. Schneider and her nephew Derrick Schneider of Colorado, as well as several cousins. A family statement reads: "We would like to thank the hospice nurses and aides for their care of mom and making her comfortable during their time with her." Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Thursday April 4, 2013 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday April 5, 2013 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Wallkill Cemetery.
