Obituary of Andres Delgado

Andres Delgado, 63, from Middletown, New York, died on March 20, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where he lived for the past two years. He was born on December 18, 1951, in Manhattan, where he was raised on the Upper West side by his parents and four loving sisters. He leaves his beloved wife of 39 years, Maria (Tapia) Delgado; his daughters Jessica Delgado and Andrea (Delgado) Tira; his son-in-law Ryan Tira; his granchildren Alexa, Carlos, Sofia and Baby Tira; and many close friends and family. His passion for theatre and mathematics led to a lifelong career in teaching. Over the course of his 38 year career he taught in Paraguay, Spain and the United States, where he spent the last 23 years teaching at Orange County Community College. A life celebration will be held on Tuesday, March 24, from 4:00-6:00pm at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home 72 West Main Street Middletown, New York. Those attending are asked to wear vibrant colors to celebrate his life and love of travel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Gatehouse Home Care and Facility Center at 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
