Obituary of Fred Y. Clark

Fred Y. Clark Jr. New Hampton, N.Y. Fred Y. Clark Jr. of New Hampton, N.Y. passed away on Friday July 5, 2019 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, N.Y. He was 86. The son of the late Fred Y. Clark Sr. and the late Mildred B. Truex Clark he was born on March 26, 1933 in Middletown, N.Y. A lifelong Town of Wawayanda resident, Fred was retired from the Ford Motor Company in Mahwah, N.J. and the Orange County Department of Public Works in Goshen, N.Y. He was a member of the Denton Presbyterian Church and the Slate Hill Pacers. Fred was a caring, loving and compassionate husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed travelling, spending time with his family and supporting his grandchildren in their activities and achievements. He also enjoyed watching stock car racing at the Orange County Fair Speedway. Fred is survived by his wife Barbara; his children, Fred Y. Clark III and his wife Patti of Georgetown, Texas; Sandra Schupp and her husband Carl of New Hampton and David Clark of Goshen. He is also survived by his grandchildren Erika Clark, Ryan and Ian Schupp, Nicole, Alyssa and Jaclyn Clark. The family would like to thank Dr. Alexander Fruchter, Dr. Harry Kazanjian, the staff at Valley View Nursing Home, as well as the staff at Orange Regional Medical Center for their kindness and compassion. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday July 9, 2019 from 4-7 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 10, 2019 at 11 A.M. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn., St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of one's choice.
