Jill DeGrote of Wurtsboro, a homemaker and longtime area resident, passed away at her home on November 7, 2018. She was 72. The daughter of the late John and Elsie Mae Hopkins Kish, she was born on April 25, 1946 in Suffern, N.Y. She was a member of the Bread of Life Church in Bullville, N. Y. The family would like to thank the Bread of Life Church as well as Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties West Team, for their support. Survivors include her children Daniel B. DeGrote of Baldwinsville, N.Y. and Dani A. DeGrote of Wurtsboro. Her granddaughter Shiloh J. Perkins Utter and her husband Wayne. Her great-grandchildren Wayne Jr. and Layla all of Bloomingburg. Her brother John W. Kish of Upper Saddle River, N.J. and her sister Shirley Morrison of Colliersville, N.Y. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Donald C. DeGrote. Visitation hours will be held on Monday November 12, 2018 from 10-11 A.M. with a Funeral Service at 11 A.M. at the Bread of Life Church 2876 Route 17K Bullville, N.Y.
