Lorraine M. Schaefer, a former resident of Greenwood Lake, NY, passed away Tuesday March 27, 2018 at home. She was 77.
The daughter of the late Anthony J. and Marie Healion Butera, she was born January 20, 1941 in Passaic, N.J.
Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years: Theodore Schaefer at home; her beloved children: Valerie Williams (Richard Boyce) of Frostproof, FL; Theodore J. Schaefer (Doreen) of Goshen, NY; Mark Schaefer (Michele) of Old Forge, PA and Scott Schaefer (Cindy) of Milford, PA. She is further survived by her 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her brother: Larry Butera, and her grandson George Anthony Williams.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM om Monday April 2, 2018 at Strong-Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak Street Greenwood Lake, NY.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday April 3, 2018 at Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake, N.Y.
Interment will follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery in Warwick, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to a Humane Society of one's choice.
