Obituary of Leslie Walters Sr.

Leslie L. Walters Sr. of Middletown, a former laborer with Eastern Tile in Middletown and a longtime resident of the area, died on March 5, 2018 in Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown.  He was 86.

The son of the late Edgar and Rebecca Walters he was born on September 14, 1931 in Jamaica.

He was the widower of Bernice Walters.

Survivors include his children Joyce Walters Caperna  and Leslie Walters Jr. both of Middletown; Bernadette Facey of Newburgh; Edgar Walters and Kenny Mann both of Middletown and his stepson Leroy Hunter of Connecticut.  He is also survived by his grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his stepdaughter Dorlitta Hunter Ware and his brother William Walters and sister Joyce Parker.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday March 16, 2018 at 1:30 P.M. at the Wallkill Cemetery Phillipsburg Road Town of Wallkill, N.Y.
