Obituary of Daniel G. Owens

Daniel G. Owens of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. died on February 1, 2018 in Greenwood Lake. He was 29. The son of Robert Owens and Mary Beth Hamilton Dawson, he was born on May 4, 1988 in Teaneck, N.J. Survivors include his mother Mary Beth Dawson and his step-father Robert Dawson at home. His father Robert F. Owens and his companion Joanie Schmick. His son Daniel J. Owens. His companion Kaitlyn Valenta. His brothers Robert Owens and his fiancé Debra Srikishun of Southfields, N.Y. and Brandon Owens of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. His brother Kyle Dawson and his fiancé Amanda Collazo of Goshen, N.Y. His maternal grandfather George Hamilton of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. and his paternal grandmother Ann Owens of Freehold, N.J. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation hours will be held on Monday February 5, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, N.Y. A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 6, 2018 at 10 A.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home. Burial will be in Warwick Cemetery Warwick, N.Y. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to a fund being established for the benefit of his son Daniel J. Owens and sent to Robert and Mary Beth Dawson.
