Obituary of Elaine Foster

Elaine A. Foster, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, died on September 9, 2017 in ORMC. She was 80. The daughter of the late Walter A. and Ruth Wormuth Hendershot, she was born on October 11, 1936 in Lackawaxen, PA. Ruth was a former employee of Lloyds in Middletown. Survivors include her daughter Judith Larkin and her husband William "Alex" Larkin of Middletown. Her sister June Lee and her husband Kenneth of Middletown. Her brothers William Hendershot and his wife Kathy of Concord, N.C. and Eric Hendershot and his wife Kathy of Middletown. Her grandchildren Jill Bach; Samantha Schwartz and Jeremy Schwartz. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Jennifer Foster and her son John Foster and her brother Walter Hendershot and sisters Shirley Brown; Joan Decker and Linda Yonts. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday September 13, 2017 from 10 AM-12 Noon with a Funeral Service at 12 Noon at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
