I’m really saddened to hear of Dave’s passing. Dave was one of those guys who you met early in life and never forget even as the years add up into later adulthood. My first encounter with Dave was when he taught art at WVHS. He was a young teacher at the time and really connected with his students. He made art fun, even for a guy like me who had zero artistic talent. He coached me in basketball and was a big influence in my development in that sport. A few years later we played against one another in Rec League. I remember and appreciated his concern and support when I experienced a serious injury in the game. Later in life I went to him for some real estate advice and he made time in his busy schedule to chat with me even though we hadn't seen each other for years. That was the kind of person Dave was. I’ll remember him as the stand-up guy he was. Rest in peace, Dave.

Dave, Jimmy, Sue, I have just heard about your father and I am very sorry for your loss, he always had a smile and a good word when he was our baseball coach. I wish there was more to say that would help. Take care my friends. OB

Sending deepest sympathy to David's family. We were Middletown High School classmates and saw each other often especially in later years after your move to Wolf Lake as I live on Masten Lake.
