Obituary of Pearl M. Herbig

Pearl M. Herbig of Goshen, N.Y., a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died peacefully surrounded by love on April 6, 2017 in the Valley View Center in Goshen. She was 106. The daughter of the late Paul and Lily Johnson Tibbitt, she was born on October 29, 1910 in Wilmington, Delaware. She was a Charter member of the Florida Quilters and a member of the Warwick Quilters. She was a piano teacher and was involved in Scouting for many years. She was the widow of John K. Herbig. Survivors include her children John Herbig and his wife Monika of California and Kenneth Herbig and his wife Laura of Goshen, N.Y. Her grandchildren Christine Faustini and her husband Chris of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida ; Curtis Herbig of Texas and John Herbig Jr. and his wife Sandra of Texas. Her great-granddaughter Natalie.
