I am so sad to lose Betti Verbert, a favorite classmate . I had a conversation with her just days before she passed on. She seemed hopeful and gave me a date in which she would know if the treatment had worked.
Needless to say I was floored to learn that she had passed on.
I shall miss her terribly. She kept our class together and informed which was a great favor to all of us who graduated in 1957.
Moreover, she had sent me a picture of my late daughter, Dr. Lilli S. Decker whom had attended with me, our 55th reunion. That was such a very wonderful thing to do.
May God give her a wonderful place in Heaven and perhaps a beautiful meeting with all of her relatives which have gone before and also to be with my Lilli.
Betti shall be deeply missed and thought of frequently by myself and all who had the good luck of having known her.
Good-bye lovely Betti and may you have the peace and love you so deserve.
