Obituary of Jill A. Benison

Jill A. Benison of Goshen, a Para Educator at Orange Ulster BOCES in Chester, died on March 23, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, N.Y. She was 53. The daughter of the late John H. Van Beuren and Charlene J. Weinmann Van Beuren, she was born on April 22, 1963 in Liberty, New York. Jill fought a long hard battle over the last year and carried her husband and family with great strength and courage throughout it all. She was the love of her husband's and children's life. Survivors include her husband Brian A. Benison at home. Her mother Charlene J. Van Beuren of Bullville. Her four children: Michael; Bryan; Sean and Brooke Benison all of Goshen. Her brothers John Van Beuren and Glen Galantz both of Bullville and her sister Lisa Soderbloom of Wurtsboro. She is also survived by her brothers-in-laws and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday March 25 and Sunday March 26, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Lippincott Funeral Home, Inc. 92 Main St. Chester, New York. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday March 27, 2017 at 10 A.M. at St. John's R.C. Church Murray Ave. Goshen, N.Y. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
