Obituary of Felicita Perricelli

Felicita Perricelli of Middletown, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died on December 15, 2016 at her home. She was 74. The daughter of the late Filippo and Maria Paonessa, she was born on June 3, 1942 in Pentone, Italy. Felicita was loved by many and she lived to share everything with family and friends. She immigrated to the U.S. after marrying in 1960. She and her husband John lived in Niagara Falls and the Bronx before settling in Middletown to raise their family. Once they had saved enough to purchase a small home, they opened their doors and paved the way for five brothers and sisters to find their way over from the old Country, providing for them until they were able to provide for themselves. Giving and sharing when there was not a lot to give. Her love and generosity will be missed but never forgotten. Survivors include her husband of 56 years John Perricelli at home. Her sons Luigi and John L. Perricelli both of Middletown and Anthony Perricelli and his wife Kristen of Chester and her grandchildren Andrea and Eric Perricelli. Her sister Annamaria Mustari and her brothers Giuseppe, Gerardo and Felice Paonessa and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Phillip Perricelli; her sister Antonia Greco and her two brothers Francesco and Nicola Paonessa. Visitation hours will be held on Monday December 19, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday December 20, 2016 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Church 149 Cottage St. Middletown, N.Y. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Middletown, N.Y.
