Obituary of Daniel V. Pellew

Daniel V. Pellew Sr. of Bloomingburg, a mason and lifelong resident of the area, died on October 29, 2016 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 68. The son of the late Raymond and Katherine Rich Pellew, he was born on November 24, 1947 in Middletown, New York. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Brian Decker for always being there. Survivors include his children Betty Ann Politis and her husband Jeffrey of Alabama; Rebecca Pellew and her husband Andrew of Loch Sheldrake; Daniel Pellew Jr. of North Carolina; Laura Pellew-Green and her husband Scott of Middletown and Randy Pellew of Alabama. His grandchildren Nicole Tornetto; Ronald Tornetto III; Ericka Tornetto; Scott Green and Megan Doolittle. His great-grandchildren Audreyanna Larsen; Auriella Tornetto and Adalyn Strain. His brothers and sisters Tom Pellew and his wife Donna of PA.; William Pellew and his wife Joann of PA.; Debbie Decker of PA.; Jack Pellew of PA.; Wayne Pellew and his wife Shirley of Alaska; Karen Doty and her husband Brian of Liberty; Kim Walker and her husband Robert of Wurtsboro and Kathy Hulse of Middletown. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his great-granddaughter Kylie Strain. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday November 2, 2016 from 11A.M. -1 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, N.Y. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bloomingburg Cemetery Bloomingburg, N.Y.
