Obituary of Steven L. DeStafeno

Steven Lee DeStafeno passed away suddenly on August 5, 2016. He was born in Middletown NY on September 28, 1970 to the late Janice and Vincent DeStafeno. Steve graduated from Middletown High School in 1988. Steve loved football, demolition car driving and volunteering with the fire department. He served as President of the Mechanicstown Fire Dept. and also as Captain of the Fire Police. He drove a cab in Goshen with his brother and father, and also drove in Middletown. Steve leaves behind his wife, Darlene DeStafeno of Dingmans Ferry, PA, his brother Vincent DeStafeno of Goshen, his sister Sheryl DeStafeno-Bowe of Hyde Park, and many, many friends. Those who knew him will never forget him. Steve was pre-deceased by his uncle William "Bill" Royce Monell, whom he emulated. Royce's birthday is August 5th. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday August 10, 2016 from 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, New York.
