To the VanDyke/Cardona family,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Geraldine, mother, sister, aunt, grandma and loving friend. I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it today as all..my heart is heavy but I am sending prayers to the family to help aid in your pain. I chose to remember Gern the way she was when we last spoke not long ago. She was the first person we met when we moved upstate 32 yrs ago and her friendship never changed over the years. It didn't matter how much time there was between us running into each other she ALWAYS gave me the biggest hug and kiss. I can still hear her saying how much I look like my mother. I'm going to miss my friend, her infectious laugh and her mothering ways with whom ever she came in contact with. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as I continue to see her smiling at me as we met as usual in Walmart lol.
