Obituary of Robert A. Blumfield

Robert A. Blumfield "Bubba" of Bloomingburg, a retired operating engineer for Local 825 and a longtime resident of the area, died on June 23, 2016 in Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 71. The son of the late John Blumfield and Emma Zielenski, he was born on November 25, 1944 in Spring Valley, New York. Robert was a graduate of Spring Valley High School in Rockland County. He was an avid car lover, tractor lover and enjoyed working on anything that had a motor or engine. Survivors include his loving children John E. Blumfield and his wife Carol of Lords Valley, PA.; Bobbie-Jo Tirelli and her husband Anthony of Middletown, N.Y. and Jacqueline Blumfield and her boyfriend Brian Prisco of Pomona, N.Y. He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren Robert C. Harding of Tampa, Fl.; Brianna V. Hammond, Andrew R. Blumfield and Tyler J. Blumfield all of Lords Valley, PA. Visitation hours will be held on Sunday June 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Lippincott Funeral Chapel, Inc. 107 Murray Avenue Goshen, N.Y. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday evening at 8:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
