Obituary of Anna C. Barringer

Anna Barringer of Middletown, a retired advertising supervisor at the Times-Herald Record and a longtime resident of the area, died on April 26, 2016 at her home. She was 90.
The daughter of the late Bernhardt and Catherine Reinsperger Sorensen, she was born on November 12, 1925 in Whitestone, New York.
She worked for many years for MacFadden Publications in N.Y. City, before moving to Circleville in 1954 and later to Middletown where she worked at the TH-Record for over 34 years. She wanted everyone to know the love and gratitude she had for her family and close friends from the TH-Record.
There will never be a more generous loving person, she will always be in our hearts.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Middletown.
She was the widow of Joseph Barringer Jr.
Survivors include her two children Joanne Barringer and Kevin Barringer and his wife Denise of Middletown, N.Y. Her three grandchildren Craig Barnes and his wife Valerie of New Windsor; Cori Attali and her husband Steve of Haworth, N.J. and Chris Barringer and his wife Nicole of Middletown. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Bernard and her sisters Jeanette and Catherine.
Visitation hours will be held on Thursday April 28, 2016 from 4-7 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday April 28, 2016 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Church 149 Cottage St. Middletown, N.Y. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Middletown, N.Y.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Co. or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
