Obituary of Sylvia C. Taylor

Sylvia Taylor of Greenwood Lake, left us peacefully in her sleep after 90 years of a wonderful life. The daughter of the late Gunnar and Ester Carlson, she was born on January 9, 1926 in Nyack, N.Y. She worked for many years as an admitting clerk at Nyack Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Calvin Richard Taylor. She is survived by her loving family of Children, Mark Taylor and his wife Christina and Nancy Clifford and her husband Jim all of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Susan Taylor of Ocklawaha, Florida and Trish Kurnik and her husband Chuck of Longmont, Co. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren with two on the way, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday March 22, 2016 from 7-9 P.M. with services being held during the visitation hours. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenwood Lake Volunteer Ambulance Corp. or to any Humane Society of your choice.
