Obituary of Martha Jane Tears

Martha Jane Tears (nee Creeden) Westbrookville, New York Martha Jane Tears, age 81, passed away at ORMC in Middletown NY. She was the widow of William Tears, Sr. to whom she was married for 50 years. She resided in Westbrookville, NY for more than 45 years, always enjoying the view of the mountains. Martha Jane retired from the Middletown State Hospital after 25 years of dedicated service. Martha Jane is survived by her son, William Tears Jr. (Bill) and his wife Lynne of Godeffroy, NY; her daughter Cynthia Tears and her partner Colleen of Boerne, Texas; her grandson Charles Hoeg and his wife Carley of Dunnmore, PA and her great grandchildren Catherine and Thomas Hoeg. Also surviving are her great nephews Dustin Creeden, Jeff Sniffen and RJ Sniffen. She was pre-deceased by Lloyd and Elsie Turner Creeden, her parents; her sister Stella Sniffen and her brother Lloyd Creeden. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Tuesday July 1, 2014 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 AM on Wednesday July 2, 2014 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Westbrookville Cemetery in Westbrookville, NY. Martha Jane always loved the dogs in her life but her last joy was to hold her grand-puppies Danny & Finn in her arms when they were rescued through The Joshua Fund.
