Obituary of Stephen F. Leahy

Stephen F. Leahy Greenwood Lake, New York Stephen F. Leahy of Greenwood Lake, a retired Glazier in the Bronx, N.Y., died on December 25, 2013 at St. Anthony's Community Hospital in Warwick. Mr. Leahy passed peacefully in the company of his three children. He was 82. The eldest son of the late Patrick F. and Helen C. Mackin Leahy, he was born on September 20, 1931 in N.Y., N.Y. Stephen was the widower of Elizabeth Leahy, his loving wife who passed away on December 9, 2012. Survivors include his loving children Joan Kolesar and her husband Barry and William F. Leahy all of Greenwood Lake and Stephen W. Leahy of Miami Beach, Florida. His adoring grandchildren Patrick and Brendan Kolesar. His brother Francis Leahy and his wife Marge of N.J. and his sister Patricia Gribbon of N.J. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Leahy. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday December 28, 2013 from 2-5 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home, 4 Oak St., Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
