Obituary of Laura Castronuovo

Laura Castronuovo of Elant at Goshen, formerly of New York City, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Laura was 89 years old. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Charles Troisi and Maria (Vella) Troisi, and the loving wife to the late Thomas Castronuovo, he died in 2005. Laura was a woman of faith, she was devoted to her family and they were a source of deep joy to her. She loved being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Laura enjoyed traveling with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Edward) Miklaszewski , her son Charles (Rosemarie) Castronuovo, her grandchildren, Joseph (Elena) Miklaszewski, Joanne (John) Matthews and Albert (Melissa) Castronuovo, her great grandchildren, Sophia Miklaszewski, Alexander Miklaszewski, Ashley Matthews and Patrick Matthews. Predeceased by her husband and brother Charles Troisi. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Friday (today) December 6, 2013 at Ralston Lippincott Hasbrouck Ingrassia Funeral Home 72 West Main Street, Middletown, NY. A funeral mass officiated by Father Michael G. Cedro, Pastor will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Church of the Holy Cross, South Centerville, NY. Burial will follow at Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen.
