Obituary of Patricia Pape Thomas

Patricia P. Thomas of Middletown, NY, a retired Principal Social Welfare Examiner of the Orange County Department of Social Services died on Monday, November 18, 2013 in Rochester, NY. She was 83.
The daughter of Michael and Mable Flynn Paper, she was born April 17, 1930 in Horton Hospital, Middletown, NY. She was the widow of Russell J. Thomas.
She graduated from St. Joseph's School and Ursuline Academy of the Sacred Heart and the Orange County Community College, all in Middletown. Pat was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Middletown, St. Joseph's Alter Rosary Society, and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a member and past president of the Orange Country Genealogical Society. She as a member the Middletown Columbiettes prior to its dissolution.
Survivors include her daughter Mary Thomas Rinaldo, and her husband David of Rochester, NY; her son John of Rochester, NY; five grandchildren: Jack, Samuel and Lenore Rinaldo and Jacob and Olivia Thomas; and one great grand daughter, Alaina Rinaldo; her sister, Pauline Pape Bonnell and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Russell, her son Robert and her brothers, Vincent and Richard Pape and sisters Jean and Beatrice Pape.
Visitation will be on Monday November 25, 2013, from 4-8 PM at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck- Ingrassia Funeral Home, 72 West Main Street, Middletown, NY
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday November 26, 2013 at 11 am at St. Joseph's Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, N.Y.
Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Middletown, N.Y.
