Obituary of John Collins

John J. Collins Chester, New York John J. Collins of Chester, a retired technician at Con Edison in N.Y., N.Y., died on June 17, 2014 at the Kaplan Family Hospice in Newburgh. He was 65. The son of the late John and Catherine O'Brien Collins, he was born on June 25, 1948 in the Bronx, N.Y. Survivors include his wife Maureen Downey Collins at home. His son Bryan Collins and his wife Lucie of Mt. Vernon, N.Y. His grandchildren Bryan Collins Jr. and Marissa Collins. He is also survived by his brother Daniel Collins. Visitation hours will be held on Friday June 20, 2014 from 2-4 P.M. at the Lippincott Funeral Home, Inc. 92 Main St. Chester, New York.
