Obituary of Sarah T. Walker

Sarah T. Walker of Goshen, a retired nursing assistant at Valley View in Goshen, died on June 14, 2014 in Valley View Rehabilitation Center in Goshen. She was 78. The daughter of the late Salvatore and Esther Galanti Tirone, she was born on November 1, 1935 in Staten Island, New York. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxilliary of the Chester Fire Department. Survivors Debra-Ann Varga of Middletown and Susan Smith and her husband Alan of Greenville, New York. Her grandchildren Joseph and Steven Varga and Jennifer and Ashley Smith. Her four great-grandchildren Austin and Andrew Varga and Matthews Moran and Dylan Seaboldt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Dombrowski and her son James Walker. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday June 19, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday evening at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn.
