Obituary of Louis Armao

Louis Armao Greenwood Lake, New York Louis Armao, retired from Rexall in Manhattan after 25 years of service and formerly of Brooklyn, New York, passed away Wednesday July 17, 2013 at St. Anthony's Community Hospital. He was 91. The son of the late Thomas and Lillian Armao, he was born June 18, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York. He was a WWII veteran in the U.S. Coast Guard. Survivors include his wife Carmella Armao at home; his son Thomas Armao and his wife Mary of Greenwood Lake, NY; his grandson Michael Armao and his companion Alicia Hogan of South Carolina; his great-granddaughter Juliana Lynn of South Carolina, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2-5 PM on Sunday July 28, 2013 at the Strong-Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak Street Greenwood Lake, NY. Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held at 12 noon on Monday July 29, 2013 at the Orange County Veteran's Cemetery in Goshen, New York.
