Kim,
You were a very true and loyal friend for so many years. The crazy times we had at Holy Cross and the get togethers we had at your house. The next time I drink Tequilla it will be for you in your memberance. I'm gonna miss you. I just wished someone would have called me and told me what happened. However it didn't turn out that way and I'm so sorry because I would have been there with no hesitation. I'll always remember you kimster...love ya.

I will always remember my child hood days with Kim, she was such a kind hearted person. I'll never forget her, laugh and smile. Although I have not seen or heard from Kim since then, when I think of her I just remember Good times and happiness. May peace be with your family & friends.

I will always have fond memories of Kim. We met about 7 years ago when I began working at MHA. Kim was very welcoming and always so friendly. Several years later, Kim encouraged me to begin working with her as an Individual Care Coordinator and she was so helpful in "showing me the ropes." Kim was always ready with a joke and not a day went by when I did not crack a smile in her presence. Even on the challenging days as an ICC, I can honestly say that Kim truly enjoyed her work; she was meant to serve children and families and those that she served were blessed to have had her in their lives. Her passing is such a tremendous loss in the community.
Kim recruited my partner, Casey, to play softball on the team she managed and Casey absolutely loved playing with her and the other women. After we moved, Kim made it a point to stay in touch through phone calls and texts. The last time I spoke with her was a few months ago when she was asking my advice on going back to school for her MSW. I was so excited for her to embark on that new journey.
To Colleen - I only met you once, but I want you to know that Kim spoke about you always - with so much love. She knew she had found her soul-mate in you and she was so happy. It comforts me to know that she had met her great love. Casey and I are so sorry for your loss and we are keeping you and the rest of Kim's family in our prayers.

It is difficult to understand why these things happen and I can't provide you with any words of wisdom in that area; I can only extend my sympathy and sincere words of praise and admiration for the endless kind deeds that Kim extended to families. In the days and weeks that lie ahead you will most likely have many feelings and emotions; my prayer for all of you who loved Kim is that you pull together and support one another in her memory.
