Obituary of Lois Belle Williams

Lois Belle Williams of Slate Hill, a farmer's wife and lifelong resident of the area, died on June 1, 2013 at her home. She was 100.
The daughter of the late Clarence E. and Harriet Smith Decker, she was born on May 12, 1913 in Pellittown, N.J.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Ridgebury.
Lois was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. Known to her family as Ma, Gram, and "GG" , she recently celebrated her 100th birthday. She was a firm believer in Faith, Family and Friends.
She was the widow of Harold D. Williams and was married for 65 years before his death.
Survivors include her sons Robert Williams and his wife Janet of Malone, N.Y. and Edward Williams and his wife Linda of Slate Hill, N.Y. Her grandchildren Debra Seaman; Kelly Nicholas (Mark); Scott McDowell (Kim); Todd McDowell (Marie); Michele Williams; Amy Smith (Kyle) and Robert Williams. Her great-grandchildren Steven Seaman (Carrie); Richard Lynch; Matthew and Ryan Nicholas; Katelynn and Sarajane McDowell; Gracie Williams; Ava, Emily and Tristan Smith. Her great granddaughter Kaya Seaman and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter Joyce McDowell Applegate; her sisters Dorothy Hoey and Eleanor Decker and her brothers Chester Decker Sr. and her twin brother Arthur Decker.
Visitation hours will be held on Thursday June 6, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 7, 2013 at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ridgebury Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church of Ridgebury or Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties.
