Joan, I will miss you especially after a friendship of 40 years. You were a mentor and inspiration to me and even though we didn't see each other often, annual cards and phone calls kept us in touch. And I enjoyed our conversations. I will miss them. However, know that you are in my heart and I fondly remember all the things you did. I remember the postcard you sent us from Japan and the souvenirs you brought us. Most of all, it was your friendship that I treasured all these years. I just learned that you had left us, not too long ago. May you rest in peace Will miss you terribly. Kathryn
