Frances E. (nee McCormick) Smith Middletown, New York Frances E. Smith, a retired supervisor for Frontier Communications and lifelong resident of the area, died on Saturday March 30, 2013. She was 92. The daughter of the late Robert and Lucy Neuberger McCormick, she was born March 7, 1921 in Middletown, New York. Frances was a member of the Orange County Archery Association; the First Presbyterian Church in Middletown and an avid lover of all sports. Survivors include her daughter Lu A. Grusz and her husband Henry of Middletown; her sister, Doris Mitchell and her husband Harold of Maine; her sister-in-law, Harriet Clark; her grandchildren, Vickie L. Monti; Robert J. Bauer; Melissa A. Grusz; Stacey C. Grusz; her 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Smith and her daughter, Dee A. Smith. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday April 4, 2013 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY. Burial will be at the Wallkill Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Assn.
