Betty was a kind, loving person. Through her I went to church meetings in Newburgh which eventually led to my current home church EHI-Glory Oasis in Poughkeepsie. She would tell me of her relationship with the Lord and experiences she had. We had fun going to the Dollar Store, out to eat and movies sometimes. She didn't let circumstances get in the way of her good nature, praise the Lord. Because of her physical challenges we couldn't talk on the phone or write as in times past and eventually she went to a facility that was a longer distance away but better for her. She loved her family and spoke of them. She spoke of the church in her area that she went to. She loved the people there. We lost touch and in trying to reconnect with her, I just find out via the internet that she had passed away. She will be missed by myself, friend Bonnie, Pastor Angella Reid and others. One thing I know, she loved Jesus and He loved her. One day we will meet again in Heaven. I am glad she is free now and enjoying her new eternal life. Your eternal friend, Cathy.
