I worked at ormc at the time Louis was a patient there. I was fortunate enough to have spent time with him and his family in his room when I would sit with him. I've never met a family like his, and more importantly never got the chance to tell them how very sorry I am that Mr.Acampora passed. Years later and I still think often of his loving wife, and I believe his son. All in all I'd just like to tell the whole family that they might not remember me but I remember them and remenber how much love they all had for this man that I was only able to meet while he was not well. What an amazing person he must have been.

I am so lucky to have you as my Grandfather. You were the type of person I aspire to be; a hardworking, intelligent, and most of all, a true family man. I will cherish all of the memories and talks that we have shared throughout my lifetime. I will love you and miss you forever and feel safer knowing that you are there to watch over and guide me.

I love you so much Grampy. You always supported me in everything that I did and you were always there for me when I needed you. You are the smartest man I've ever known and I'll always cherish all of the talks we've shared over the years. Now I have the most amazing guardian angel. I'll miss you for the rest of my life. Many may say loosing a Father-in-Law is different than losing a Father, but for me I know it is the same. For 25 years he has been a loving presence in my life and the most wonderful grandfather. He will be missed every minute of every day. The only comfort is knowing we have another angel looking over our family. Dad you will always be in our hearts.
