Obituary of Frances Korman Crawford

Frances Ayers Korman Crawford, 92, of Galveston Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 25, at Ocean View Health Care, in Texas City, Texas.
Frances was the daughter of the late Mabel Harlor Ayers Hayes and Cooper Ayers. She was born on September 25,1920 in the Township of Greenville, NY, and resided in Westtown, NY for many years. She also spent winters in Deltona, FL, before moving to Galveston, Texas in 2005.
When the Minisink Valley School opened in 1958, Frances was one of the original cafeteria ladies, working there until her retirement. She was a long time member of the Greenville Leisure Club and Webb Horton Memorial Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her three daughters, Vera (Ronald) Goodrich of Middletown, NY, Joan Loiodice (Ronald) Rust of Galveston, TX and Betty A. Korman of Houston, TX. Two step sons, Richard (Rose) Crawford of New Fairfield, CT., and Gordon (Pam) Crawford of St. Petersburgh, FL
Five Grandchildren, Erika (Randi) Reed of Middletown, NY., Andrea (Rick) Sifre of New Paltz, NY., Scott (Sydney) Goodrich of Middletown, NY., Timothy (Lori) Loiodice of Kingwood, TX and Kellie (Sam) High of Dallas, TX, Jason Crawford of Orlando, FL and Todd (Ashley) Crawford of Largo, FL. She also had eleven great grandchildren, Corey, Justin and Rachel Reed, Zachary and Dylan Adler, Shelby Goodrich, Mason, Connor and Braden Loiodice, Abigail and Emma High. She is also survived by two sisters in law, Mae Ayers of Middletown and Audrey Ayers of Westtown, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by two husbands, William Korman and Wesley Crawford, her step father Charles Hayes Sr. Three sisters, Mildred Ayers, Rena Cline, Olive Rosman, and six brothers, Elmer, Cooper, Irving, Calvin Ayers, Ferris and Charles Hayes Jr.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 3 to 8 pm at Ralston, Lippincott, Hasbrouck, Ingrassia Funeral Home at 72 West Main Street, Middletown, NY. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10am with the Rev. Peter Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery on Rte. 6, following the service.
