Joyce had both an inner and outer kindness about her that was always very obvious to me. From way back when we were children playing in our grandmother's house until the last time I saw her, her sincerity shown through and I felt great warmth from her. I will never forget when my father died how she brought all that wonderful food from her deli and stayed all day without trying to rush off. Every time she knew about a folk music special on TV, she'd leave me a message and tell me about it, even if I'd already seen it three times. I remember how she loved the Beatles and spoke so proudly of her beatoes record collection. So, Joyce, "Let It Be" that you forever rest in peace. Cousin Eileen

"Aunt" Marion, Johnny, Joey, Joette, Jeffrey and Joliene - My words could never express how saddened I am for the loss of your dear daughter and sister. So many memories come rushing back from "The Good Old Days" when Nana would take me to visit your house - well, Nana and Aunt Marion visited... us kids usually raised a ruckus... and Joyce, being the mature older one, was always trying to keep us at a dull roar. Much Love and ((Tight Hugs)) for all of you. Brenda & Family
HER JOURNEY
Don't think of her as gone away,
her journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrow and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort,
where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched,
for nothing loved is ever lost,
and she was loved so much.

Our sincere condolences to your family's loss of Joyce. Her spirit will live on in our hearts. We remember her in Joliene's kitchen working up a great meal, with all the camaraderie of her family. The stories, laughter, and conversation, as well as the great food, are great memories to cherish.
Rest in peace and in God's hands, Joyce.

Nothing compares to the loss of a child or sibling...nothing. Just know when God calls them home, that bond lives on in our hearts and always will. As we grow up and grow old, making time for each other and making memories is so very important, for it is those memories that see us through until we meet again. Joyce will live on in your hearts and has simply taken the next part of the journey, she isn't gone, she's just moved on. I have no doubt she was welcomed into the loving arms of our beloved Mr. Mush and is just fine now. Love each other through this difficult time and it will all be okay. God bless.

Dear Aunt Marion,
I'm so sorry to hear about Joyce's passing. Although we did not keep in touch I have only fond memories of Joyce. It was always great to see her when we came up for a visit. She always found the time to stop in and say hello. She usually had an unusual story to tell about someone or something that happened to her or someone else. They were entertaining to say the least.
I know how much my mother loved her!! Now Joyce is with my mother, Uncle Joe, Uncle Al, Uncle Ross and Aunt Angie in Heaven having a grand old time I'm sure.
I don't know if I can get up there to extend my condolances. Please offer my sympathies and good wishes to ALL my cousins. I hope they are well. I know how close they all were to their big sister Joyce and this must be very difficult for them and of course, you Aunt Marion.
Mothers should NEVER have to bury their children.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the Family
God Bless and all my Love to you ALL,
Your nephew John
