Obituary of Anthony P. Lucente

Anthony Paul Lucente, 81 of Middletown, NY, passed away due to a long illness on July 10, 2012 surrounded by his children. Born in the Bronx, on September 14, 1930.Son of Angelo Lucente and Angelina Orsini. He was a retired member of the Local 780 Cement Masons Union in New York City. He enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. He loved watching and cheering at his grandson's countless swimming meets, football and baseball games. He proudly watched his granddaughters grow into beautiful young women. He is survived by his son, Mark and his family, Rosemary, Adam, and John Michael of Circleville;His daughter, Tina Ferraro and her family, Carl, Michael, Becky, Paul, and James of New Paltz; and his son Michael, and his family, Annmarie, Danielle, and Melissa of Monroe. He is also survived by his brother, Augustino Lucente of Florida and sister, Jean Cogan of California. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Edith Heifetz Lucente and brother, Michael Lucifora. A private service will be held at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Westchester, NY. There he will rest eternally with his wife, Edie. The family would like to thank Dr. Benoy Singh and our wonderful cousin, Toni Russo, for excellent care throughout the years. We would also like to thank Dr. Quilitan and Dr. Khan and their staff for outstanding care of our father at Orange Regional Hospital in Middletown, NY.
