Obituary of Doris Marie Jahrling

Doris Marie Jahrling Formerly of Middletown Doris Marie Jahrling, Kimberling City, MO, daughter of Joseph Francis and Margaret Agnes (Hussey) Nowak, was born August 27, 1930 in West New York, NJ, and departed this life, June 11, 2012 in her home, at the age of 81. Doris married Christian Emmett Jahrling on February 4, 1951, at St Josephs of the Palisades Rectory, West New York, NJ. Doris was a homemaker and was of the Catholic faith. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Christian; brother, John Joseph Nowak and son-in-law, Horst Eppenbach. Survivors include: one daughter, Susan Elaine Eppenbach of PA; two sons, Christian Emmett Jahrling, II and wife, Shana Dee of VA and Timothy Jon Jahrling and wife, MaryJane of MO; thirteen grandchildren, Horst Eppenbach II and wife, Elizabeth, Heidi Eppenbach, Kaitlyn Jahrling, Joseph Jahrling, Brianne Jahrling, Eric Jahrling, Nichole Purcell and husband, Sean, Meghan Jahrling, James Braica and fiancé, Jodi Munier, Jeffrey Braica, Jessica Braica, Amber Menchaca, Serena Menchaca and Kyle Stone; seven great grandchildren, Hoyt Bower, Laurel Bower, Karoline Eppenbach, Gavin Purcell, Holden Purcell, Nola Purcell, and Jaiden Braica and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Wednesday June 20, 2012 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday June 21, 2012 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be Thursday, June 21, 2012 in Sylvan Cemetery, Wurtsboro, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to: Best Friends in Utah; St. Jude's Children's Hospital and St. John's Lutheran Church.
