Obituary of William Baker

William B. Baker, a retired self employed mason & carpenter and lifelong resident of the area, died Wednesday May 30, 2012 at the Montgomery Nursing Home. He was 82. The son of the late Arthur and Mildred Leggett Baker, he was born on January 17, 1930 in Middletown, NY. He was the widower of Alberta Baker in 1984. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in Korea. He is survived by his children: Kathy Atkinson & her husband James of Pine Bush; Sally Konsul & her husband Gary of Pine Bush; Ralph Baker of South Carolina; Jeff Baker and his companion Lori of Pine Bush; Lori Korin & her husband John of Bloomingburg; Joe Baker of Pine Bush and Jason Baker & his wife Jessica of Slate Hill; his brother: Thomas Baker and his wife Marion of Middletown; his sister: Linda Higby of Howells, NY; his daughter-in-law Dianne Baker, as well as his grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son: William Baker Jr; his brothers: Arthur; Frederick; John; James; Ralph and Lawrence Baker. His sisters: Mildred; Gloria- Jean; Rena; Alice and May. Visitation will be held on Sunday June 3, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday June 4, 2012 at 10 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Middletown, NY.
