Obituary of Gladys I. Raymond

Gladys I. Raymond of Johnson, a homemaker and lifelong resident of the area, died on February 9, 2016 in Valley View Rehab Center in Goshen. She was 88. The daughter of the late William and Rose Elder Ford, she was born on February 14, 1927 in Westtown, New York. She was a member of the Ridgebury Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of Rutgers Engine Co. in Johnson, N.Y. She was the widow of William Raymond Sr. The Raymond family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Valley View for the care they provided our mother. Survivors include four children William Raymond Jr. and Gene A. Raymond both of Johnson, N.Y.; Frank C. Raymond of Mt. Upton, N.Y. and Marjorie Wood of Goshen, N.Y. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Gail Morgan and her brothers and sisters. Visitation hours will be held on Friday February 12, 2016 from 11A.M.-1P.M. with a Funeral Service at 1P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, New York. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rutgers Engine Co. Ladies Auxiliary or the Ridgebury Methodist Church.
