Obituary of Margaret Silvernail

Margaret H. "Pegs" Silvernail, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died Tuesday December 22, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 74. The daughter of the late Burton G. and Clara Martman Odell, she was born August 5, 1941 in Amarillo, Texas. She was the widow of Earl Silvernail, whom she married February 14, 1958. Survivors include her children: Mark Silvernail; Monica "Lynn" Barber (Matthew); her grandchildren: Stefanie McKeown (Joseph); Brittany Barber (Joseph Pesante); Craig Barber; Alan Silvernail and Brian Silvernail. She is further survived by her great-grandchildren: Jayce ; Lyla McKeown; as well as a 3rd one on the way; and her sister: Mary Long; several brother and sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughters: Margaret Anne "Peggy" and Michele Alise (Missy) Silvernail; as well as her sister: Catherine Fletcher. Visitation will be held Sunday December 27, 2015 from 2-4 PM at Lippincott Funeral Chapel, Inc. 107 Murray Avenue Goshen, NY. A Funeral Mass will held at 10 AM on Monday December 28, 2015 at St. John RC Church in Goshen, NY. Burial will be in Hamptonburgh Cemetery in Hamptonburgh, NY.
