Obituary of Andrea M Farkus

Andrea M. Farkus of Middletown, a retired Lab and customer service representative at Balchem Corp. in Slate Hill, N.Y. and a lifelong resident of the area, died on November 22, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 68. The daughter of the late Theodore and Rita Edwards Busse, she was born on April 6, 1947 in Middletown, New York. She was the widow of James Farkus. Survivors include her children Christine Squitieri and her husband Al of Greenville, N.Y.; Michele Farkus of Middletown and Jessica Farkus of Middletown. Her grandchildren T.J. Snell; Joseph, Andrew, Alyssa and Gianna Squitieri. Her brothers Thomas Busse and his wife Lynn of Middletown; James Busse and his wife Patricia of North Carolina and Don Busse and his wife Diane of the State of Florida. Her brother-in-law Andrew Farkus and his wife Beverly and sister-in-law Joyce Hughes and her husband Kurt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday November 24, 2015 from 5-8 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, New York. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday November 25, 2015 at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Middletown. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Middletown, N.Y.
