Obituary of James J. Kelly

James J. Kelly of Greenwood Lake, a retired High Voltage Trouble Shooter for ConEdison, and a long time resident of the area, died on Friday November 13, 2015 at his home. He was 70. The son of the late James and Veronica Dauer Kelly, he was born on September 24, 1945 in Bronx, N.Y. He was kind hearted. He was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed playing Poker on Friday evenings at the American Legion. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife Rosemary at home. His son Shaune Kelly and his fiancé Leeanna Ferry of Greenwood Lake. His step-sister Joanne Sarrica and her husband Lewis of Boca Raton, Florida and several nieces and nephews. His dog Scruffy also survives him at home. He was predeceased by his mother, father and step-father George Reisman. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday November 18, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, New York.
