Obituary of Nancy Deserto

Nancy Deserto of Middletown, a retired employee of Avon Products in Middletown and Suffern and a lifelong area resident, died on October 8, 2015 at her home with her family by her side. She was 87. The daughter of the late Salvatore and Frances Dina Alonge, she was born on May 20, 1928 in Marlboro, N.Y. She was the widow of Francis "Frank" Deserto. Survivors include her children Anna Helt and her husband James and Anthony Deserto of all of Middletown. Her seven grandsons: James Helt and his wife Jennifer; Andrew and Daniel Helt all of Middletown. Francis Deserto and his wife Natalie of N.Y. City; Michael Deserto of Campbell Hall; Robert Deserto of Walden and Christopher Deserto of Campbell Hall. Her great grandson Gavin. Her brother Jake Alonge of Marlboro and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Carmelo and her sister Frances Malfa. Visitation hours will be held on Monday October 12, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday October 13, 2015 at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Bloomingburg, N.Y. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Middletown, N.Y.
