Obituary of Ricki Powell Corti Hallenback

Ricki Powell Corti Hallenback of Greenwood Lake, New York a former waitress at Murphy's in Greenwood Lake and a longtime resident of the area, died on October 5, 2015 in Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, N.Y. She was 68. The daughter of the late George William and Louise Johanna Schloh Powell, she was born on January 10, 1947 in Queens, New York. She was the widow of Antonio Corti and Edward Hallenback. She was a member of the Greenwood Lake Elk's and a former member of the Greenwood Lake Volunteer Ambulance Corp. Survivors include her children Dario Powell and his wife Lisa of Montgomery, N.Y. and Christine McCarthy and her husband Darren of Beach Lake, PA. Her brother Bruce G. Powell and his wife Lorraine of N.J. Her grandchildren Alexis McCarthy; Dennis McCarthy; Olivia and George Powell. She was predeceased by her brother Arthur Powell. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday October 7, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak Street Greenwood Lake, New York. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to the Greenwood Lake Ambulance Corp.
