Obituary of Cynthia R. Barrett

Cynthia R. Barrett of Middletown, passed away on Friday May 29, 2015 in Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, N.Y, .after a long illness from a rare brain disease. She was 62. The daughter of the late Paul M. and Florence C. Barrett, she was born on October 14, 1952 in Middletown, N.Y. Cindy worked for her brother Kevin who owned and operated Hair Technique as a nail technician during the 1980's. She also worked for Lakeview Salon as a nail technician all located in Middletown, N.Y. She also worked for Buddy's Glass and St. Anastasia Church in Harriman as a cleaning lady. Cindy was an avid lover of dogs. She dedicated her life to making donations to the ASPCA and the U.S. Humane Society. Survivors include her sister Arianne Rogue of Cuddebackville, N.Y. Her brothers Thomas Barrett and his wife Lena of Middletown; Kevin Barrett of Wappingers Falls; her sister Teresa Barrett and her brothers Brian Barrett and his wife Deidre; Kyle Barrett and Terence Barrett all of Middletown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Patrick and Dennis Barrett. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday June 4, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, New York Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 5, 2015 at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home.
