Gary W. Ogden of Slate Hill, a warehouseman for Do-it-Best Warehouse in Montgomery, N.Y. and a lifelong resident of the area, died unexpectedly on April 19, 2015 at his home. He was 62.

A family statement read: "Gary was a very hard worker. When he wasn't working, he would be out spoiling his grandsons. Whether it would be playing baseball in the backyard to taking them to company trips to Six Flags and the Bronx Zoo. He was a wonderful grandpa, brother, husband, dad and friend. Those who knew him will remember him best for his sense of humor. He had a way with putting a smile on your face with his outrageous jokes and pranks. We are all going to miss him very much.
Survivors include his son Steven and his wife Christina of Slate Hill. His mother-in-law Katherine Cardillo at home. His grandchildren Joshua James Law; Stephen Christopher Ogden and Jayden Matthew Ogden. His brother Raymond Ogden of Otisville and his sister Debbie Raymond and her husband Frank.
