Obituary of Anita Brown

Anita Brown Otisville, New York Anita Brown, a retired RN and Nursing Administrator for the Middletown Psychiatric Center and lifelong resident of the area, passed away Saturday April 11, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 81. The daughter of the late Raymond Smith and Beatrice Brown, she was born January 31, 1934 in Middletown, NY. Anita was baptized in Jesus' name at the Greater Upper Room Apostolic Church in Middletown by the late Evangelist Claudine Williams. Survivors include her children: Elizabeth Smith & her husband Curtis; Martin Brown & his wife Anne Marie and Karen King all of Middletown, NY. Her brother: Clayton Smith of Middletown, NY; her grandchildren: Nicole Howard; Kimberly Howard; Tania Cortes & her husband Yeison; Duane King & his wife Lonique; Anhjela Van Dunk & her husband Eric; David Jackson; Richard Jackson; Melissa Brown and Martin Brown II. She is further survived by 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and nieces; nephews & cousins. The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to Douglas Fletcher; Daniel Perry and Marina Keller. Visitation will be held from 10 AM -12 Noon on Tuesday April 14, 2015 at the Bread of Life Church 2876 State Route 17K Bullville, NY 10915. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 12 Noon at the Church. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Middletown, NY.
