Obituary of Kathy D. Doty

Kathy D. Doty a lifelong resident of Middletown, N.Y. passed away on January 25,2024 in St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick. She was 73. Kathy was the daughter of the late Frank and Hestor Worden and was born on May 1, 1950. She was the widow of George R. Doty and they were married on December 3, 1967. Kathy previously worked at St. Theresa's Nursing Home, security officer for Burns Security, security at the Galleria Mall, worked at Gilman's Cleaners and was the owner of Sunshine Ceramics. She loved watching stock car races and hunting with her family. She loved big holiday dinners, playing Bingo and trying her luck at the casinos. She also loved helping out at Korn's Campground. She was the mother to George R. Doty Jr. (Mike), Frank H. Doty (Amy), David W. Doty (Bonnie), Thomas R. Doty (Jen), John A. Doty (Kim), and Kathleen L. Doty (Chris) (Joe). Grandmother to Ryan, Joseph, Emily, Jessica, Katelyn, Andrew, Megan, Mathew, Nathaniel, Madison, Austin and Zachary. Great-Grandmother to Dominic and Scarlett. She was predeceased by her brother Ronnie Elston. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday January 30, 2024 from 4-7 P.M. with a Funeral Service on Wednesday January 31, 2024 at 11 A.M. all at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
